About FinStat

Same founders. New accounting engine.

We have been turning financial PDFs into accounting data since 2024. This is who built it.

We started with a stubborn problem: a bank statement stuck in a PDF should become clean data, not an hour of typing. That was BadBank.ai.

Tens of thousands of statements, in 36+ currencies. It was never a full accounting engine — it was the first mile. FinStat is the engine that mile was pointing at. Same people. Patents pending since 2024.

AI accounting is not an accounting problem. It is an AI problem, an advanced-mathematics problem, a software-architecture problem, and an engineering problem. Text completion cannot keep a ledger. Balanced entries, closed periods, and source-tied numbers have to be properties of the system. A chart of accounts is a model; your reports are projections of the same transactions. You stay in the AI you already use. FinStat holds the ledger.
